After a long day of sightseeing I wanted to relax and enjoy some good food, so I headed to the town of Port Townsend, WA and just hung out most of the day. I went into a shop to try to buy postcards and ended up talking with the clerk for quite a while. Well, in our
conversation it came up that I like to snowboard and he said "have you ever snowboarded on a volcano?" My head didn't know what to do, but I knew it was a sign that snow was in the near future. He also told me about a sushi place in town that was supposed to be the best, but when I arrived there at 3pm it didn't open until 5pm. So I walked around some more and found a homemade ice cream shop, which had a chocolate orange ice cream that was to die for. During this time I checked times for the ferries because I had to go across to get to the volcano and it turned out the last one was at 5:15 pm. I rushed back to the sushi place and placed my order and asked them if they could rush it a little because I wanted to catch the last ferry. To my surprise they got my order out in time and as you can tell on the picture above I was the last one to get on the ferry. By the way the sushi was amazing and if you ever find yourself in Port
Townsend visit
Ichikawa and order the seventh heaven roll, it
truly is heaven.

The next day I found my self driving to a volcano called Mount Baker to snowboard. As you can tell from the pictures above it was cold and it was snowing like crazy. The snow was heavy and wet, which I'm not used to so I had a hard time out in the snow and it also didn't help that my board needs a wax job. I do have to say that for a small resort that only charges $35 a day it was incredible. I really enjoyed riding Mount Baker and might have to comeback someday and try to conquer more areas in this volcano.
Today I woke up in Silverdale, WA which is located directly across from Seattle and it's a great day because my 2 cousins from Denver are coming out here for the weekend. Karina and Jackie are flying in tonight and I haven't really spent any time in Seattle so I can experience it with them. Well, I will try to post more pictures of the weekend on the next post and on monday I'm gonna be going to Oregon and then South Lake Tahoe.
